Last weekend, Yeah, Art! had the privilege of supporting fellow nonprofit 826 Valencia in its annual Storytellers’ Showcase at Yerba Buena Gardens. Students from 826 Valencia’s writing programs joined to read their original writing for their families and community.

Nooworks is a woman-owned, size-inclusive clothing brand that features custom textiles by rotating artists. We’re excited to announce that all proceeds from the brand’s latest print, Desert Disaster, will be donated to Yeah, Art!

We partnered with Generation Thrive and The Warriors Community Foundation to host a “Paint & Sip”-inspired experience with a futuristic twist.

We’re partnering with Freely In Hope to support Pendo’s Power, a children’s book that prevents sexual abuse. Pendo’s Power teaches age-appropriate concepts about consent, body autonomy, safe touch, and the power of their voice.

Yeah, Art! just wrapped our first semester of our three-year commitment at Roosevelt Middle School. Our Big Kids led Vocal Performance, Songwriting and Music Production workshops 2-4x/week for the budding young artists at Roosevelt.

Yeah, Art! tapped young artists to draw their dream worlds. Then we brought the dream worlds to life, animating the students’ art to pop off the page and move in 3D.

Yeah, Art! teachers are artists in real life. And one of the classes we teach is branding. So when it came to branding ourselves, we went hard to create a look & feel that would inspire support for our organization.

There’s a new Big Kid in town. Yeah, Art! is beyond proud to welcome our newest board member, music industry legend Rickey Minor.

We’re excited to announce Yeah, Art! is an official recipient of the Oakland Unified School District Arts Incentive Grant 2025, a three-year funding program that will help us launch in OUSD this academic year.

For this reason, we pay our diverse teaching team the radically ethical wage of $125 per hour.

We are proud to announce that Yeah, Art! received Best In Category for "Social Good" and Gold for "Best Product/Business" in The Side Show, an award show highlighting the outstanding side projects of the advertising and design communities.

The Big Kids came through Oakland’s Fifth Annual Black Joy Parade, an incredible event filled with fellow orgs working to empower Black Bay Area youth.
