A powerful new children’s book about consent

Yeah, Art! is excited to partner with fellow nonprofit Freely In Hope to support the launch of Pendo’s Power.

Pendo’s Power is a children’s book that prevents sexual abuse. Written for children ages 4-10, Pendo’s Power teaches age-appropriate concepts about consent, body autonomy, safe touch, and the power of their voice.

Written in English and Kiswahili, children will not only learn a new language but also learn how to harness the power in their voice to speak up against sexual violence.

Join us Saturday, November 4 at San Francisco’s Children’s Creativity Museum for the launch.

This is a family-friendly event. Little kids are free.
