Protecting creativity with trademark law

Great ideas are worth protecting. But too often, artists end up in a bad spot because of the lack of knowledge/resources to protect their work.

That’s why we’re beyond grateful to our partner Adibi IP Group, a minority-owned Bay Area firm specializing in trademark and patent law. Their team has helped Yeah, Art! secure the necessary protections for our org.

Next up? Partnering with Adibi IP Group to design a workshop that teaches young artists the basics of intellectual property law, so the next generation is better equipped with the knowledge/resources to protect their amazing ideas.

Adibi IP Group is a member of Legal Access Alameda, which provides free legal services to low-income communities in Alameda County. The initiative is committed to bridging the justice gap for those who cannot afford an attorney. They also throw a great party (see below).

“We strongly believe that a person's access to justice should not be determined by their income.”
