Yeah, Art! partners with Oakland Unified School District

We’re excited to announce Yeah, Art! is an official recipient of the Oakland Unified School District Arts Incentive Grant 2025, a three-year funding program that will help us launch in OUSD this year.

Yeah, Art! is set to partner with esteemed OUSD music educator and Oakland native Randy Porter to reimagine a new way of arts education for Oakland middle school students.

Shout out to our other program collaborators: City of Oakland Cultural Affairs Commissioner Kev Choice, grant writer Jie Howard and everyone who’s helped us to where we are today.
