Yeah, Art! Grows Its Team Of Teaching Artists
We’re gearing up to expand in 2025! We hosted our first Big Kid Training at Studio X in Oakland. Led by Education Director Danny Saucedo, the training included local artists in animation, video editing, AI and more. These are the in-demand creative skills of tomorrow — the ones we plan to use to empower our students.
Danny Saucedo (Education Director) and Ja Ronn Thompson (Executive Director) lead group of Bay Area Teaching Artists in Yeah, Art!’s first Big Kid training.
Community Spotlight: Studio X
Shout out to Karina Flonnoy, one of our music production teachers, for opening her studio up for our Big Kid training.
Studio X is one of the few woman-owned and operated recording studios/event spaces in the Bay. As CanvasRebel says, Studio X is “a crucible for creativity, offering recording, mixing, mastering, and production services, and standing as a beacon for artists, especially those from marginalized communities.”
